Challenge:
Design a navigation structure and search functionality to make it very easy for site visitors to be able to intuitively use the site and find the information for which they are seeking. As the featured horses will change frequently, the site must also be extremely easy to update and maintain.
Solution
The custom Content Management System created for this site allows staff to easily upload pictures and add text for each horse, input their Pedigree and Progeny, and link to the horses trainer or boarding facility. Horses can be added to or removed from the "For Sale" list by simply clicking a checkbox.
This site also has a powerful search component, allowing visitors to search for a horse by simply entering the horse name, or partial name. Visitors looking to purchase offspring of a particular horse can also search all Pedigrees for a specific name.
