The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy
CodeMonkey Design recently completed the following three separate projects for The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy at Capital University Law School. In addition, CodeMonkey Design has been contracted for a fourth project due to be completed in late Summer 2009.
The Adoption & Child Welfare LawSite: An online resource of child welfare and adoption law information for a wide variety of users. The heart of the site is a robust search engine allowing site visitors to easily search for relevant material from an archive of several thousand documents. Site maintenance is achieved through the use of custom Content Management System (CMS), allowing staff members to easily add/edit documents without needing to know HTML or any other web programming language.
The Adoption & Child Welfare JobSite: A FREE webservice specifically limited to employment opportunities in the adoption and child welfare fields. The site allows employers to post jobs that can be easily searched by job seekers using a number of search criteria, including job type, keywords and location.
The Ohio Alternative Response Pilot: Ten Ohio counties are currently participating in an innovative pilot project that provides a tool to child protection agencies for working with children and families in trouble. The pilot project is the result of a joint effort by the Supreme Court and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS). The secure webpage provides participants with a forum to share resources with one another in a user-friendly format.
